Interests: I love to play flag football, basketball, volleyball, and i love to swim...too bad i don't have a pool to swim in...Im totally into photography, though im not a total nerd, nor am i good at it. I just love taking lots of pictures and so when i figure out how to post them on here, i will put some on for everyone to see. woohoo!! i also love to read books, mostly about World War I and II. That time period REALLY interests me. I also am an addict to gum. Juicy fruit is my favorite. I could chew all day, practically. My teeth are probably gonna fall apart someday, because of all the sugar. oh well... i love listening to music. since coming back from this yfj program, im trying to change my listening habits, because i never realized how much an influence music has on you. So im trying to change right now and it's so hard, because i still like the "other/bad" music i used to listen to, so i ask God to help me through this hard struggle of temptation.

Hey everyone...i never have time for xanga anymore, except when summer comes around and there isn't anything else to do around home...oh well...yeah, my summer break is nothing special to talk about, but I can't wait for summer camp to start cause then I'll work as a lifeguard and meet tons of new people. wahoo!! SAU was super fun this year...so glad i went...i can't wait to go back already...i miss school...not really the school work, stress, and all those tests, but mostly the people and fun times we had....oh well...stuff to look forward to i guess!!

My brother is going to be in the ASI youth for Jesus program this summer in Dallas, so that means i just probably will go to the convention...that is if i can get the time off...i've heard my camp director doesn't like letting people take time off, but he's gonna have to cause i really want to go!! hopefully lots of my YFJ friends will be there and we can all hangout!! wahoo we shall see...

The other thing that is occupying my summer time is going to weddings of friends and cousins...why the sudden urge for everyone to get married? i don't understand...it's crazy...it's just weird seeing friends and cousins who are only a couple years older than me getting married left and right...i guess that's what happens when you go to Southern....i'm sure i'll be going to lots of weddings in the next few years...how exciting!!

i don't wanna bore you with anymore of my useless ramblings, cause i could really do that cause i have nothing else to do, but i will say i miss all my friends and I can't wait to see all you guys again!! we have to hangout tons!! I'm praying for you guys!! Keep Jesus first!!

I have finally finished my first week of school this second semester. I'm sooo thankful for the weekend. My classes & schedule are pretty crazy. I practically can't eat the cafe for lunch or dinner 4 days a week. It's so hard to see any one, cause the caf is a big social time. oh well. learning and classes are more important, rite??? haha, not really, but...

I was soo excited yesterday (Sabbath) cause it actually started to snow. A little snow falling. it was a beautiful thing!! nothing stuck, i was sooo disappointed, but i'm over it. i'm loving college though. Southern is the place to be. it's just all working out for me this year, so i'm excited!! one problem though, i have no idea what my major should be, let alone what my career should be. it's really bugging me. grrrr....with patience and God's guidance, I will find something!!! I'm not looking forward to studying today, oh well. my roommate's gone for the weekend, so i have the whole place to myself. hopefully, some peace and quiet...haha yeah, rite!!

oh yeah, last sunday, so my friends from back home that come to southern with me, we all try to fly together back to southern and home, yeah. So we all got to the airport early sunday morning. i'm talking 5:30am. early. we have a flight at about 6:20 or so. We get on & take off. right after take off and we're still ascending and suddenly the whole plane starts to vibrate. big vibrations. really weird. i have a window seat and so i'm looking out the window trying to figure out what's going on. nothing that i can see. so the plane levels off and the vibrations stop. but as soon the plane tries to ascend again, the vibrations start again. the pilot comes on and says we're gonna have to land and try and find out what's going on. we land and wait around in the airport for a coupld hrs. they finally tell us that the plane had flown into some birds!! the birds had become stuck in the rotator wings or something like that...damaging the engine somehow and i suppose the birds too!! haha....i couldn't believe it. that was oddest reason for a plane to have to make an emergency landing. i still can't believe it!! oh well....it's pretty funny. i'm just glad it happened right after take off when we were still close to sacromento!! after running around the entire airport w/ all my luggage, one of my friends and I eventually got on a 10am flight. it took us all day, flying to seemingly all the airports except the one we wanted (that's southwest for ya), but we finally made it to nashville. then because our plane was late, we missed our shuttle ride back to school. ahhhh...one more thing to add to an eventful day...so I called up one of my friends and he came all the way from southern (about 2 hr drive) to pick my friend and me up from the airport!! got to school bout 1:30am!!! woohoo...it was fun!! I had 8am classes the next morning, so i was just a little tired!!haha...i'm just blessed that God found a way for us to get back to school safely...it wasn't the way i was planning, but it still worked out...and so now i'm back to school...trying to stay ahead of my classes.

now, i'm really tired and must get sleep!!

Yeah... posting blogs frequently is sorta hard for me. I never have time for such things, but now that I'm on christmas break, there's a little more time. woohoo!! I'm finally back in cali and am in a familar area. I can drive myself places and have my room all to myself. It's so nice. I already miss college and my dorm room (with all it's freedoms...hehehe), but it's nice being with my family. Right now, my family and I are down in LA, visiting my grandparents. My step-grandma is starting chemo/radiation tomorrow, so please pray for her. It's her third time w/ cancer!! She's so strong. Last night, we all went to a sing-a-long Messiah concert. It was pretty cool hearing 2000 people all singing together!! Tomorrow night, my family and I are going to see the Nutcracker ballet in SanFran. It doesn't feel like Christmas. Mostly cause it's like 80 degrees outside right now!! so much for a white christmas! oh well....

College is soooo much fun!! Meeting people, making new friends, independence and new freedoms, and new classes!! everything is so fun!! It's so nice to be on break, but I kinda miss it all. weird, i know!! Before starting school, I was nervous that my roommate was gonna be weird or hard to get along with. Thankfully, God answered my prayers and calmed my nerves and gave me a great roomie. It's not like we're best friends or anything, but we get along!! We have similar interests and go to bed about the same time, which is a big thing when we are sharing a room!! She's so sweet and always looking out for my needs! I just hope and pray I can be doing the same for her!! My suitemates (the girls we share the bathroom with) are super sweet. Both of them are some of my best friends here. They are so much fun and we love to laugh!! hahaha I'm so glad finals are over with. They weren't really that bad, but since I didn't really know what to expect, I was kinda apprehensive and nervous! woohoo!! so, that's what's going on with me....

I really wanted to go to GYC, but since I'm on the west coast and cause the conf. is RIGHT in the middle of my break, it's REALLY inconvenient & very expensive for me to come. I was gonna come regardless, but then I realized I wouldn't have too much time with my family, soo I decided not to come. I'm really bummed, cause I was excited to see all you guys!! Hopefully next year!!

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!!

hello to whomever is reading this...my brother starts high school tomorrow, but he's sick, so i don't think he's going to school. it's so sad to miss the first day of school, high school no less. oh well...i'm going the state fair tomorrow with some friends. i'm so excited cause it's my first time and i can't wait to eat deep-fat-fried avocados!! jk that sounds so gross, but their actually selling that stuff there i guess. oh well.
today i went shopping with my mommy for...school clothes...i can never find any clothes. its SO depressing!! i leave for southern in less than three days!! i'm so excited!! its so sad to say goodbye to friends that i know i won't see for at least four months, until Christmas, but i guess ya gotta do what ya gotta do. oh well...
